The Mayan Secrets (Fargo Adventures 5) is the fifth installation of Sam and Remi Fargo’s adventures as a husband-and-wife treasure hunting duo.

The book begins with the Fargos in Central America, where the make an amazing discovery – a human skeleton that is holding an ancient, sealed pot. They investigate further and find a perfectly-preserved book inside the pot. It is a Mayan book, and is larger than any book of the Mayans that has been previously found by archaeologists.

The book becomes the centre of a thrilling plot, as it contains astonishing information about the Mayans, their civilisations, and about humankind as a whole. The Fargos soon find that they aren’t the only ones who are interested in these secrets, and that the others will stop at nothing to get their hands on them, even murder. Many will die in the race to possess the treasures in the book, and two of them might be the Fargos themselves. The book also provides a deeper character development for the Fargos that fans of the characters will enjoy.
