Publishing professional Kiara has come into money after her childless uncle’s death. She is invited to a Whatsapp chat by Aditya Khanna, who claims to be an alumnus of Boston University and working as vice president with a bank in New York. They continue to speak until one day Aditya flies down to India and sweeps Kiara off her feet. He promises to return to India for good and marry her. But before he does that, he calls to say he has sent everything he owns – gold biscuits, gilt-edge securities, jewellery, bundles of currency in dollars, as a duty paid consignment, and she needs to receive it at the airport. On the day of the delivery, she receives a call from Customs about the unexpected shortfall in the custom duty for her parcel. She makes up for it with her inheritance, but later reaches the airport to find that no consignment ever arrived for her. She tries calling Aditya but to no avail. He has disappeared.
